Commanders standard is rediculous and I chose to use it over the golden halberd even with my faith build. It's skill is a flat 20% damage and damage mitigation buff to amd against all types of damage. That's quite hefty especially compared to the Golden Halberds roughly 12% damage buff to only armaments, and pretty pathetic 5% damage mitigation.
