Horror movie host Rich Koz, a fixture on Chicago television for over 32 years playing the wise-cracking “ Svengoolie ”, is recovering from a heart attack. According to the Chicago Media Blog, Koz, 60, was stricken at his home Saturday night and was admitted to a Chicago hospital, where he was being treated Monday.
Making this poll to last through next week so everyone has a chance to catch Sventoonie for the sake of the poll. I'm not to crazy about Trevor Ground, the undead Video store worker, but I love Blobby Blobfish. I think Sventoonie might work a little better before Svengoolie starts since it's a lot goofier than Svengoolie.Kerwin is a prehistoric chicken. Sven himself is the "son" of the original Svengoolie who vanished in the mid-70's. (In reality, the original host Jerry G. Bishop move to San Diego and recommended Rich for the job.
